Asha Gift Palace

Asha Gift Palace is tucked away in Nangal Raya, specifically in Churi Wali Gali. If you know New Seelampur, you know how busy these lanes can get. Our shop is right there at Wz-530/1. We have been selling bangles and small gift items for a long time now. The name of the street tells you a lot about what people come here for, and we try to keep a good variety of colors. It is a small space, so we have boxes piled up pretty high. Sometimes it feels like there is more stock than floor space, but that is just how things go in this market. During the festival season, it gets really crowded and the noise from the street never stops. We start early in the morning, dusting the glass cases and making sure everything looks okay. It isn't a fancy showroom with air conditioning or soft music. It’s just a regular shop where we do our work every day. We see the same faces every week, mostly local families looking for something for a wedding or a housewarming. We spend a lot of time untangling ribbons and putting things into small plastic bags. It can be tiring being on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, but it makes the bangles shine well enough for people to see what they are buying before taking them home.
