Choosy Gift House

Choosy Gift House is located at 1516 Chandrawal Road, right by the Subzi Mandi. If you have ever been to the vegetable market here, you know how packed and loud it gets. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We have all sorts of gift items squeezed onto the shelves. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where every single item is hidden. The smell of the market is always there—onions, potatoes, and whatever else is being sold that day. It can be a lot to handle if you aren't used to it. We spend our days showing people different things they might want to give to their friends or family. The floor is a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it feels like home to us. Chandrawal Road is always moving. There are carts and bikes and people carrying heavy bags everywhere you look. We have to keep the door mostly shut to keep the noise out, but people still find their way in. We aren't looking to be a big chain or anything. We just like our little spot in the market. It’s a hard place to work sometimes because of the crowds, but it’s never boring. We’ve been here for years and we know the rhythms of the Subzi Mandi better than anyone. We open up the shop early and we stay until the market starts to quiet down.
