Fancy Gift Palace

Over in West Rohtas Nagar, Shahdara, you’ll find Fancy Gift Palace. Despite the name, we aren't actually a palace. It’s just a regular shop on a busy street. We’ve been here in Shahdara for quite a while now. The space is filled with all kinds of things—clocks, statues, toys, and household items. It’s the kind of place where you have to look around for a bit to see everything. We don't have a lot of staff, usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and trying to find room on the shelves. The area around West Rohtas Nagar is always moving, so we get a lot of people just passing through. We aren't the type to give a big sales pitch. We usually just let people browse and answer questions if they have any. Sometimes the shop feels a bit dark because we don't have the brightest lights, but it makes it feel a bit more homey. We’ve had some of the same customers for years, and they know exactly where everything is. It’s a modest way to make a living, and we enjoy being part of the local scene. The name Fancy Gift Palace was chosen a long time ago, and we just kept it. We’re just a local spot in Shahdara, trying to provide a few useful things for the people around us. It's nothing too special, just a shop on the corner.
