Sallu Gift Collection & Cosmetics

Our shop, Sallu Gift Collection & Cosmetics, is located at C-98/29 in Brahampuri. New Seelampur is a place where everyone knows everyone, and our little corner is no different. We have a mix of things here, mostly cosmetics like lipsticks and powders, along with some gift sets for special occasions. It’s a narrow shop, so we have to use every inch of the walls for shelving. Sometimes we have to use a ladder just to get a bottle of perfume down for a customer. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and people moving about. We open up early and stay until late in the evening because that’s when most people finish their work and come to buy things. It’s a very local feel here. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our sales; we just write everything down in a big register. The shop smells like a mix of different soaps and perfumes, which is actually quite nice. We have a small mirror on the wall so people can try on the colors they like. It isn't a big mall store with bright neon signs. It’s just a practical shop where the locals come to get their daily essentials or a gift for a relative's wedding. We try to keep the prices fair because we know our customers personally. It’s just us doing our best in this busy neighborhood, keeping the shelves stocked.
