Mittal Cosmetis Bangle & Gift Centre

Our shop is called Mittal Cosmetis Bangle & Gift Centre and we are right at K 296 Main Chowk in Karawal Nagar. It’s a very noisy spot because the chowk is always full of rickshaws and people moving about. We sell a lot of different things here. The bangles take up a lot of space because there are so many colors and sizes to keep track of. Then we have the cosmetics and the gift items mixed in. It’s quite a lot for one shop to handle. I usually have to climb up a ladder to reach the stuff on the top shelves which is a bit tiring. Karawal Nagar is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry. I try to help people quickly so they can get back to their day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a small light to show the customers the different shades of bangles we have. It’s not always easy but we manage. My brother helps me out with the heavy boxes when new stock arrives from the city. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people seeing the shop when they walk through the chowk. The shelves are a bit old and the floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, but it’s our place. We’ve been at K 296 for years and we know the other shopkeepers around us pretty well. It's just a normal shop.
