St Columbo Public School

We are based in Pitampura, which is a very crowded and busy part of Delhi. St Columbo Public School has been operating here for a long time, and the building has become a familiar sight for the people living in this neighborhood. The structure isn't brand new, but it is solid and has plenty of space for the classrooms. We have a small courtyard where we do the morning prayers and sometimes some physical exercise. The desks in the classrooms are made of wood and have been used by many students over the years. We have a small office near the entrance where parents can come and pay the fees or talk to the staff about their kids. Pitampura has very narrow lanes, so it gets a bit chaotic when the school gets over and all the kids head home at the same time. We don't have any big fancy auditoriums, just a large hall that we use for everything from meetings to small events. Our teachers are mostly people who have been with us for a decade or more. They use chalk and blackboards mostly, keeping things traditional and straightforward. The library is small but has enough books for the kids to read. We don't really do much in the way of marketing because the local families already know we are here. It’s just a simple, local school providing education to the kids in this part of the city.
