Amity International School, Noida

Our administrative office for Amity International School, Noida is actually located at 17/884 in Lodhi Colony, New Delhi. It is a bit confusing since the name says Noida, but this is where we handle a lot of the back-end tasks. Lodhi Colony is a very pretty area with all the old government housing and the trees. Our building is one of those traditional ones with thick walls. Inside, it is usually a bit of a mess with stacks of papers and folders everywhere. We have several people working at small desks, and the phones ring pretty much all day long. It is a busy place, especially when the school season is about to start or end. We don't have any fancy reception area. If you come in, you’ll probably see someone typing away or on a call. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee and tea. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We aren't trying to look like a corporate headquarters. We just focus on getting the paperwork done and answering all the questions that come in from parents and staff. The 110003 area is quite central, so it’s easy for us to get around when we need to. It’s not a perfect office, and it gets a bit cramped when we have meetings, but it serves its purpose. We’ve been here a while and it feels like a second home to most of us.
