Finding us in Sector B can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to the layout of Vasant Kunj. Pocket 10 is where we are tucked away. It’s a bit quieter than the main roads, which is nice for the classrooms. The school building has been around for a good while. We see the same faces every morning at the gates, parents in their cars and the yellow buses pulling in. The playground gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up in the dry months. We have a lot of windows that stay open to let the air in, though the noise from the nearby planes can be loud sometimes. The halls are wide and the floors are that hard stone that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. Our office has a lot of old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't really do anything fancy here, just follow the schedule and make sure the bells ring when they are supposed to. Some of the walls could use a new coat of paint, but we get to that when there is a break in the term. There’s always someone sweeping the entrance or organizing the books in the library. It’s a busy spot during the day, then it gets completely still once the last bus leaves. We just lock the gates and start over again the next morning. It’s a steady routine that keeps the place going and we just take it one day at a time here.
