A S N Day Boarding School

We are over in Pocket Iv of Mayur Vihar I. It’s a typical Delhi neighborhood where everything is organized into these little pockets, and we’re right in the heart of one. Since we are a day boarding school, the kids spend a lot more time here than at a regular school. They stay for their meals and for extra study sessions in the afternoon. Because of that, the place feels a bit more like a second home than just a building where you go for lessons. We have a dining area where everyone sits down together, and it can get quite loud with the sound of spoons hitting plates. The classrooms are functional and have plenty of shelf space for the students to keep their belongings. Outside, there’s a small patch of ground where they play during their breaks. It’s not a massive field, but it’s enough for a game of catch or some running around. The local traffic can be a bit much during the morning rush, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s relatively calm. We have a small staff of teachers and caretakers who look after everything from the lessons to the lunch menu. We don't have any fancy mission statements or glossy brochures. We just show up every day, look after the kids, and make sure they get their work done before their parents come to pick them up in the evening. It’s a busy life but it’s ours.
