Banyan Tree School

We are over here at Building Number 3 inside the Rai School Complex. It is right on Lodhi Road in Delhi. Most mornings start with the sound of buses pulling up and parents dropping off their kids near the gate. It gets pretty busy around 110003 during those early hours. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is just a normal school building with hallways that get quite loud when the bell rings. You can usually find someone sweeping the front steps or fixing a desk in one of the classrooms. We don’t have fancy speeches here, just a lot of books and teachers trying to get through the daily lessons. Some days the weather in Delhi is so hot that we just want to stay inside under the fans. The kids like to run around the courtyard during their lunch breaks. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many students coming in and out, there is always a bit of dust. It’s just a regular place where people come to learn and work. Nothing too complicated about it. We see the same faces every day. Sometimes the traffic on Lodhi Road makes people late, but we just carry on with the schedule. It is a solid building with a lot of history in these walls. We just do our jobs and go home at the end of the day. It is a simple life for us here.
