Bal Bharti Public School

Bal Bharti has been a part of Parwana Road for quite some time. If you know Pitampura, you know how busy this stretch of Delhi can get, especially during the morning rush. The school sits right there, a familiar sight for anyone heading toward the main market or the metro. We have these large gates that open up early, and then the buses start rolling in one by one. It’s a lot of coordination to get everyone inside without blocking the whole road. Inside, the corridors are wide, which is good because the kids are always in a hurry to get somewhere. You’ll hear the sound of chalk on boards and the occasional shout from the playground. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff, like making sure the water coolers are full and the light bulbs in the back hallway get changed. The staff room is usually a bit cluttered with notebooks and half-finished cups of chai. It feels like a second home for many of us who have worked here for years. Delhi weather can be tough, so we’re always looking forward to the cooler months when the kids can stay outside longer. It’s a big place, and sometimes things get a little chaotic, but that’s just how a school in Pitampura is. We don't try to hide the wear and tear on the walls because it shows the place is being used.
