Sneh International School

Sneh International School is right there on Vikas Marg in the New Rajdhani Enclave, near Preet Vihar. If you know Delhi, you know how busy that road gets with cars and the metro overhead. The school is a bit of a landmark in this part of East Delhi. It’s a large enough building, but it feels full when all the students are inside. We’ve got the usual setup—rows of desks, some charts on the walls, and a playground that gets quite dusty in the dry months. The teachers here are a mix of older, experienced ones and some younger folks just starting out. They spend a lot of time at their desks, and you’ll often hear them telling the kids to keep the noise down in the corridors. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a place for the local kids to come and get their schooling done. Parents are always standing around the gate at home-time, waiting for their children and chatting with each other. The atmosphere is pretty practical. We follow the curriculum, have the annual functions, and deal with the heat of the Delhi summers. Life here moves along with the school bell, from the first assembly in the morning to the last bell in the afternoon. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest kind of place where education happens every single day without much fuss and without pretending to be something more.
