Ramjas School

Ramjas School is located on Pusa Road, which is one of the busiest stretches in this part of Delhi. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic near Karol Bagh, you’ve probably seen our building. We’ve been around for a long time, and the school has seen many generations of students pass through these doors. It’s a place with a lot of history, but we don’t spend much time thinking about that. We’re too busy with the day-to-day stuff. Every morning, the gates open and the noise starts. It’s a mix of children talking, teachers giving instructions, and the general hum of the city outside. The classrooms are simple and functional. We have plenty of windows, though they mostly look out onto the traffic or the trees lining the road. Our teachers are mostly people who have lived in Delhi their whole lives. They know how to handle the heat and the busy schedule. We have a field where the kids play, though it’s hard to keep the grass green during the summer months. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about teaching the subjects and making sure the students are disciplined. People know us because we’ve been a fixture on Pusa Road for so long. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, one day at a time, making sure the bells ring on time.
