Rachna Art Gallery

Rachna Art Gallery is found at Wz-1660 on Jail Road in Nangal Raya. The road outside is always busy with cars and buses, but once you step inside, it’s a bit different. We do a lot of framing here, so there are usually bits of wood and glass around the workshop area in the back. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s how we work. We also have some paintings and art supplies for sale. We aren't a high-end gallery where you have to whisper. It’s more of a local shop where you can come in and talk about what kind of frame would look good on your kid’s drawing or a diploma. We’ve been at Wz-1660 for quite a while, and the walls are covered with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. Some days we spend hours just cutting mats or glass to the right size. It's a lot of manual work and your hands get pretty dirty. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It's just a small team of us doing the work. People come in from Nangal Raya and the surrounding areas because they know we’ve been here forever. We don’t make a big deal out of things. We just do the framing and sell the art supplies as best as we can. It’s a steady life and we like it that way. Come by if you need something framed.
