New Kashmir Art Gallery

New Kashmir Art Gallery is located over in the Outer Circle of Connaught Place, specifically at N 12. Being in CP means there is always a lot of foot traffic and tourists walking by. Our shop is filled with all kinds of things we have collected and brought in over the years. It is not a fancy modern gallery with those bare white walls. It is more of a traditional shop where things are stacked up and you have to look around to see everything. We spend a lot of our time explaining where different items come from to the people who wander in. The building itself is quite old, like much of the architecture in Connaught Place. We have to deal with the usual issues of being in an old structure like this. We do not have a big staff at all. Usually, it is just one or two of us here at any given time. We are not trying to be the most famous or trendy place in the city. We just happen to like what we sell and the history behind it. The front windows get a bit smudged with all the people looking in from the sidewalk during the day. We open the doors every morning and just see who the day brings into the shop. It is a steady kind of life here at N 12. No big promises, just a shop full of art and crafts.
