You will find us at B-1, 59, right in the middle of Kabir Wali Gali in Mahipalpur. It’s a narrow lane, so if you’re driving, you have to be careful not to clip any side mirrors. This part of Delhi is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. Our shop is pretty basic. We have shelves lined with various art supplies and craft bits that we have collected over the months. It gets a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. The lighting isn't the best, but we have a few extra lamps we turn on when we are doing detailed work. Most of our day is spent packing things up or helping someone find a specific type of glue or wire. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns minding the front. The back room is where most of the storage happens, and it’s a bit of a squeeze to get through the door sometimes. We like it here because it feels like a real neighborhood. We know the guy who sells tea at the corner, and we see the same people walking their dogs every morning. It isn't a fancy gallery by any means. It’s just a place where we keep the supplies and do our work. Every now and then, the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back for a bit.
