We are based out of the old Birla Mills area in Kamla Nagar. Pulse Food India Pvt. Ltd. has its setup here, and it's a pretty active place to be. If you know Kamla Nagar, you know it's always moving. We deal with pulses, so the warehouse is usually full of heavy bags and that earthy smell of lentils and beans. We spend a lot of our time sorting through things and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s dusty work, and by the end of the day, we’re all covered in it. The building itself is an older one, part of the history of the mills here. It has high ceilings and thick walls that stay a bit cooler than the street outside. We don't have any fancy furniture or a modern lobby. It's just desks, scales, and bags. Our team is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We usually eat lunch together and complain about the traffic on the main road. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the pulses, we process them, and we send them out. There isn't much more to it than that. We don't use big words or try to act like we're more than a local food company. We just try to do right by the people who buy from us. It’s a long day, but it feels good to see the trucks leave full.
