Pragati Public School

Pragati Public School has been part of Dwarka Sector 13 for quite some time. If you’re familiar with this part of Delhi, you know it’s a residential hub, so we have a lot of families living right around the corner. The school building sits there and witnesses the daily hustle of the metro nearby. We aren't trying to do anything flashy here. We just open the gates every morning and get to work. The teachers here have their own ways of doing things, mostly sticking to the books and making sure the syllabus is covered. We have a playground that’s seen better days, but the kids don't seem to mind as long as they have space to run. The hallways can get a bit crowded between periods, and you’ll always hear someone shouting to get to class. We deal with the usual Delhi heat and the rain that sometimes floods the entrance, but we manage. It’s a practical setup. We have desks, chairs, some computers, and a lot of chalk dust. Most of our students come from the surrounding blocks, so there’s a real neighborhood feel to the place. You see the same faces at the grocery store or the park. We just try to keep the kids focused on their studies so they can do well. It’s a lot of paperwork and managing schedules, but it’s what we do here in Sector 13.
