Mount Abu Public School

Mount Abu Public School is located in Pocket H of Rohini Sector 18. If you know Delhi, you know Rohini is a massive residential area with lots of different sectors. Sector 18 is a bit quieter than some of the others, which is nice for a school. We are tucked away in Pocket H, so there isn’t too much through traffic right outside our gates. The school itself is a large building with plenty of windows. We’ve got a small playground area where the kids spend their time during the breaks. Inside, the walls are painted a simple color and there are notices pinned up everywhere about upcoming exams or holidays. The office is usually the busiest place, with parents coming in to pay fees or ask about their children’s progress. We don’t go for anything too flashy; it’s just a practical space for learning. The teachers here have been around for a while and they know the families in the neighborhood pretty well. We see a lot of siblings coming through the school over the years. In the afternoons, when the sun starts to set, the building gets quiet and we spend that time preparing for the next day. It’s a steady routine that hasn’t changed much since we opened. We are just part of the local landscape here in Rohini, providing a place for the local kids to go.
