Kohinoor Foods Limited (Formerly Satnam Overseas Ltd.)

Kohinoor Foods Limited has been around for quite a while now, though some people still remember us as Satnam Overseas Ltd from back in the day. Our main office is over at E-357 on Mandir Marg, right in the Chhajju Pur area of Shahdara. Delhi-110032 is the pin if you are sending something over. Shahdara is a crowded part of town, always lots of noise and people moving about, which suits us just fine. We deal with food, mostly grains and things like that, and there is always something going on in the warehouse or the office. Working in food is a bit different because you have to be careful about everything. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years. Some of us have worked here since it was still called Satnam Overseas. It is a family-style environment even though it is a big company now. The office on Mandir Marg is where we handle all the accounts and the planning. It is not the most modern building you will ever see, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time on the phones talking to suppliers and making sure the trucks are on time. Sometimes the traffic in Shahdara makes things difficult, but we manage. We just want to make sure people get what they ordered without too much fuss. It is a long day usually, starting early and finishing late when the last paperwork is filed.
