Kamal Model Senior Secondary School

Our school is at Building No-K-1 Extension on Gurudwara Road in Mohan Garden, Delhi. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how busy the streets can get. We are right in the middle of it. The school is a Senior Secondary one, so we have students from young kids all the way up to those finishing their final years. The building is several floors high to make the most of the space we have here. Every morning, the street outside gets crowded with rickshaws and parents dropping off children. Once they are inside, it’s a bit more settled. We have classrooms, labs for physics and chemistry, and a place for computers. It's not a luxury school; it's a practical one for the families living in Mohan Garden and nearby. The teachers have a lot of work to do keeping up with the big classes. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just teach the subjects as per the syllabus. During breaks, the corridors are full of noise, which is expected. We have a small office where we handle the admissions and fees. Most people find us because they live just a few blocks away. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. We just keep going, day by day, making sure the students have a place to study and the building is kept in one piece.
