Happy Home Public School

Happy Home Public School has been sitting here in Rohini Sector 11 for quite a while now. We are right at B 4, and most people around Delhi know where this pocket is. It is not some fancy glass building, just a regular place where we try to get things done every day. The morning starts early with the yellow buses rolling in and the gatekeeper making sure everyone gets inside before the bell rings. It gets pretty loud once the kids are in the hallways, but that is just how a school works. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade when the sun is hitting hard in the summer. The staff rooms are usually full of notebooks and half-drunk cups of tea because there is always something to grade. We don't really do big speeches here. It is more about making sure the fans work in the classrooms and the water coolers are filled up. Some of the parents have been coming here since they were kids themselves, so there is a lot of history in these walls. We see the same faces every day at the gate. Rohini 110085 is a busy area, and we are just a small part of it. There is always a bit of dust from the road and noise from the nearby market, but inside the gates, it is just us and the students trying to get through the lessons before the final bell at two in the afternoon every single day.
