God Father

God Father is one of the shops inside Palika Bazar, specifically at shop number 206 near Gate No 2. If you know Connaught Place, you know how busy it gets underground. It’s a unique place to work because you don’t see the sun much during the day. We are surrounded by other shops and lots of people looking for deals. Our spot at 206 is just a regular stall in the market. We have clothes and other items that people usually look for when they come to Palika. It gets very crowded, especially on the weekends, so it can be quite loud with everyone bargaining. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. The shop is small, so we have to hang things from the ceiling and stack them high. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. We don't use any fancy sales talk. People come in, look at what we have, and we tell them the price. That’s how it works here. We see tourists and locals every day. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’re used to it. Dealing with the crowds at Gate No 2 is just part of the job. We keep it simple and stay focused on what’s right in front of us. It’s been our home for years now and we like the energy.
