Estern Academy Of Science

Estern Academy Of Science is located on the top floor of F-128/3 in Mohammedpur. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you get to the top, it’s a good space. New Delhi is always noisy and crowded, but being on the top floor helps us stay a little away from the street level chaos. We have a few rooms set up for teaching and some desk space for the admin work. It's not a huge institution. We keep things pretty small and focused. There’s a lot of papers and books piled up in the corners. We try to keep them organized, but it’s a constant battle. The light in the afternoon is actually quite nice through the windows. We spend our days planning lessons and talking to students who come by. It’s a very practical place. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a map. Sometimes the phone rings and we’re all too busy to pick it up right away, but we eventually get back to everyone. Working in Mohammedpur means we’re close to everything, which is handy. We usually have a pot of tea on the go for whoever wants some. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep the academy running smoothly. We’ve been here for a bit now and have become part of the neighborhood. It’s simple work but we like doing it together and helping students find their way.
