Country Crafts

You can find us at B-1, West Gorakh Park, right across from the Telephone Exchange on New Jatra Road. It’s a convenient landmark for anyone trying to find Country Crafts. Our shop and workspace are all in the same building. We have a lot of wooden items and handmade crafts sitting on the shelves. There’s always the sound of someone sanding wood or the smell of fresh polish in the air. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so we mostly rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their neighbors. The office part is just a small desk near the front door where we keep the receipts and the phone. Sometimes the shop cat sleeps on the paperwork, and we have to move her to find anything important. We’ve had this place for years. The windows are big, so we get a lot of natural light, which is good for looking at the details of the crafts we handle. It can get a bit cluttered when we’re working on a big project for a client. We just step over the boxes and keep going until the job is done. We don’t have fancy uniforms. Usually, we’re just wearing old shirts and aprons covered in sawdust. It’s a honest way to spend the day. We like being part of the community here on New Jatra Road. It’s a regular life.
