Padma Art And Craft

Our shop, Padma Art And Craft, is located at Number One Below Safdarjung Flyover on Aurobindomarg. It’s near the Safdarjung Airport and Aliganj, actually Aliganj is right there near the airport. It’s a busy spot, so there is always noise from the traffic above us. We have been here for a long time, tucked away in this specific corner. The location is a bit funny being right under a bridge, but everyone knows where it is. We deal with various crafts and art supplies, mostly keeping things stacked on the shelves until someone needs them. It gets a bit dusty with the cars going by all day, so we are constantly cleaning the front area. There are just a couple of us working here most days. We don't spend money on advertising or anything fancy like that. Word of mouth usually brings people in. Sometimes the planes from Safdarjung Airport are loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. The inventory changes depending on what we can get our hands on. It’s a small space, so things are usually piled high. We know the other shopkeepers around Aliganj pretty well. It’s just a normal way to earn a living. We don't have a website or anything, just the physical shop where we show up every day. It's practical and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. We've been here for many years now.
