Shivaarts

Our workshop is located at 111/4 in the Old Tejab Mill area. Bholanath Nagar in Shahdara has a very old industrial feeling to it. You can see the history of the place in the bricks and the high ceilings. We do a lot of art-related stuff, mostly things that local shopkeepers or families need for their homes. It isn't a gallery or a museum; it’s a working shop where things actually get made. There is usually paint on the floor and that strong smell of ink in the air. We’ve been at this address for a long time. Shahdara is a crowded place, and getting deliveries into the old mill can be a real headache because the lanes are so narrow and tight. We don't really mind it though because it feels like home to us. The people working here have been part of the team for years. We aren't a big corporation with different departments for everything. If the phone rings, whoever is nearby just picks it up. We do a lot of things by hand because it just turns out better that way. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps and wait. It’s a slower way of living, even with all the orders we have to finish. We don't even have a fancy sign out front. People find us because they know we are the ones in the old mill who get things finished for them.
