C. P. Cottage

We've been at 44, Gole Market for a while now. It’s a busy spot, you know how Gole Market gets with all the people moving around and the traffic outside. C. P. Cottage is just our little corner here. Most days start pretty early, opening up the doors and checking on what needs to be done. We have a lot of stuff piled up, sometimes it’s hard to keep it all neat but we try our best. It’s not a fancy place or anything like that. Just some walls, some floor space, and us working. People stop by, sometimes they just want to chat or look around, and that’s fine. We don't really do the whole big advertising thing. Most folks find us because they were walking by or someone told them we were here. It’s a bit dusty today because of the construction down the road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep the fans running to stay cool. There’s always some noise from the street, cars honking and people shouting, but after a while, you just stop hearing it. We’ve seen a lot of shops come and go around here, but we’re still at number 44. It’s a simple life, really. We handle the items, talk to the regulars, and wait for the sun to go down so we can head home. Nothing too complicated about it. It is what it is.
