Merchants India

We are Merchants India, located over at Yashwant Place. Specifically, you can find us in Flat 3 on the first floor of the Ndmc. Building. Chanakya Puri is a nice enough area, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We have desks piled with papers and some samples sitting around. It’s not a large space, but it’s where we do all our business. We’ve been in this building for a good while. You have to climb the stairs to get to the first floor. There’s no elevator, but it’s only one flight. We deal with various goods and trade stuff. It's mostly quiet work, lots of phone calls and emails. Sometimes people drop by to discuss orders. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door. The Ndmc. Building has a lot of history to it. We like being in this part of town. It feels central. We don’t go for anything too modern. The furniture is heavy wood and the lights are a bit dim. It’s a comfortable place to work. We know most of the other tenants in the building. It feels like a small community. We just handle the day-to-day tasks of running Merchants India without much fuss. It’s a simple setup for a trade office. We keep a tea kettle in the corner for when the afternoons get long. Sometimes the monkeys outside the window are more entertaining than the paperwork we are doing.
