Kriti Candle

Our place is located at 500/7 on Daksh Road, which is right in the Vishwas Nagar part of Shahdara. If you know the area, it’s quite industrial and busy. We’ve made our home here making candles. We started out small, just a few molds and some wax. It stayed that way for a long time. Now we have a bit more space, but it still smells like paraffin and wick smoke most days. The floors sometimes get a bit slippery from the wax spills. We try to keep it clean, though. We make all sorts of candles, from the plain white ones people use when the power goes out to some colored ones for festivals. It’s a lot of manual work. We spend hours pouring the hot wax and waiting for it to set properly. We don’t use big fancy machines for everything. We like seeing the finished product ourselves. Shahdara is a good place for us because there are plenty of people around who need what we make. Sometimes we’re working late into the evening when there’s a big order to finish up. We aren't trying to be some high-end luxury brand. We just make candles that burn well and don't cost a fortune. It's honest work and it keeps us busy. People around here know us as the candle folks on Daksh Road, and that suits us just fine.
