Village Khairana is where you’ll find us, specifically at A-23 in the MIDC T.T.C. Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of the world, and our building fits right in with the rest of the industrial landscape. At Vidcast Engineering Pvt. Ltd., we don’t really go for the polished corporate look. Our walls have a few scuffs, and there is always the sound of machinery humming in the background. It is an engineering firm, so things can get a bit oily and loud. We started out here and just kept going, year after year. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day’s work. There are no fancy mission statements written on the walls here. We just focus on the tasks we have on the floor. Some days are long, especially when a machine needs fixing or a deadline is creeping up, but that’s just how it goes in an industrial zone. Most of the staff have been here for a long time, so we all know how the place runs without needing to say much. It is a straightforward operation. We handle the engineering work that comes our way, keep the equipment running as best as we can, and try to stay on top of the paperwork when we find a spare minute. It’s a living, and it’s what we know.
