M/S Excel Engfab (I) Pvt Ltd

We are based out in Navi Mumbai, working on production at our facility. The weather here is always a bit humid because we are so close to the coast, but you get used to it. Our place is called Excel Engfab. It’s a proper industrial vibe here, with a lot of machinery and the constant smell of metal and oil. We spend most of our time on the shop floor making sure the fabrication is going okay. It’s loud, and you usually have to shout to be heard over the machines. Navi Mumbai has grown a lot, so there are always new buildings going up around us. We get to work early to beat the worst of the humidity. The tea lady comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. Our office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a lot of blueprints. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks; we just care about getting the parts out on time. The floors are concrete and usually have some scuff marks from moving heavy equipment around. It’s a lot of manual work and checking measurements. We’ve got a good group of guys who have been doing this for years. It’s just honest engineering and fabrication work. No fluff, just hard work in the heat. We usually close up when the shifts end and catch the local trains back home with everyone else. It is a long day but that is just the way it goes.
