We are located at Plot R-841 in the TTC industrial area over in Rabale. It’s right in the heart of the MIDC zone, so it’s surrounded by other factories and workshops. The air always smells like metal and oil around here. We’ve been operating from this shed for quite some time. It’s a large space, mostly filled with machines and parts. We do engineering work, mainly focusing on fabrication and assembly. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the work happens. The guys are usually covered in grease by lunch. We have a small office section for the paperwork, but most of the action is on the floor. Rabale is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat, but we stay busy. We don’t really do much advertising; most people find us because they need something specific made or fixed. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We don’t have fancy chairs or a coffee machine that works all the time. We just focus on the drawings and the metal. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out. It’s just how things are in this industry. We’ve stayed in the same spot because it’s convenient for the trucks. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours and we know every corner of it. Nothing special to look at, but we get it done and that is what matters.
