It’s all about the sound of machinery and the smell of metal. Here at Madhuram Micron Tools Pvt. Ltd., we aren't afraid of getting a bit of grease on our hands. The building at W-447 is sturdy, though the paint has seen better days because of the heavy rain we get every year. We don't have a fancy canteen or anything, just a small corner where we keep the kettle for tea and some biscuits for the team. Working behind a big place like Alfa Laval means we are always in the thick of things. The trucks are constantly moving in and out, and the dust is just part of the furniture. We spend most of our hours checking the tools and making sure everything is precise. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The fans in the workshop are always running to keep the heat down, but it still gets pretty warm by midday. We like being in Rabale because everything we need is close by. If a machine breaks or we need a specific part, there is usually someone a few blocks away who can help. It’s a real working-class atmosphere, and we fit right in. We just show up and work.
