Lift Kraft

Lift Kraft is based out of Shop No. 706 in Mahape, right in the middle of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation area. We are pretty close to the Millenium Business Park, which is a lot more modern than our little shop. We spend our days dealing with elevator parts, cables, and control panels. It’s a lot of technical work, often greasy and tiring. The office is small and usually crowded with boxes of components waiting to be sent out to different sites. Navi Mumbai can get really hot, and our shop doesn't have the best ventilation, so we are usually sweating by noon. We do a lot of maintenance work, so the phone is always buzzing with someone complaining about a lift being stuck somewhere in the city. We aren't a huge brand name, just a group of guys who know how to make lifts move again. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive from overseas, and that makes the customers grumpy, but we do what we can. The traffic in Mahape is a nightmare during rush hour, so getting our service van out of the yard is a task in itself. We just keep our heads down and keep working on the machinery until the job is done. It is a lot of troubleshooting and dealing with old motors, but that is just what we do every day.
