Intercer Engineering Works

We are tucked away in the M.I.D.C. area over on Thane Belapur Road. Our shop is at R-311 in Kalwa, specifically the Rabale part. It is a very industrial neighborhood, so you mostly hear the sounds of machines and trucks all day long. Intercer Engineering Works is where we do all our metal work and repairs. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, no matter how much we sweep it up. It is just the nature of engineering work. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the space, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have a big project going on. Most of us have been working with our hands for years, so we know our way around the tools. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; if you come by, you’ll probably find us at the back near the lathes. It gets quite hot in the summer under the corrugated roof, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We just take the jobs as they come in and try to finish them on time. It is straightforward work for people who need things built or fixed. We stay busy with the local factories around here who need parts made or machines maintained. We enjoy solving the mechanical problems that come through our door.
