Being based in Airoli means we are right in the thick of things in Navi Mumbai. Fluor Daniel I Ltd has been situated here for some time now. It’s a part of the city that is always changing, with new buildings going up and more people moving in every month. Our office is a straightforward place. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a desk. The commute can be a bit of a headache with the local trains and the traffic, but we make it work. Most of us live nearby, which helps. Inside, the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the shelves just fine. We spend our hours looking over project details and talking to contractors. It’s mostly quiet work, except for the noise from the street outside. Navi Mumbai has a different energy than the main city, a bit more room to breathe, though it’s still crowded. We like the local food stalls nearby for lunch; it’s better than any cafeteria. There isn't much to say about our history other than we’ve been working hard and staying busy. We don’t go for the big speeches or the fancy titles. We’re just a team in Airoli getting through the week’s tasks. We keep it simple and focus on what needs doing before the day is over.
