We set up Bhrigu Consulting right here in Navi Mumbai, working out of Krishna Apartments in Kamothe. It’s an apartment office, which means we don’t have a big glass storefront, but we have plenty of room for our blueprints and tools. Being in Sector 36 makes it easy for us to get to different construction sites around the city. We do a mix of engineering work and actual contracting, so some days we are at our desks and other days we are out in the dirt at a site. The team is just a few dedicated guys who know how to read plans and get buildings up. We started this because we saw a lot of projects being done poorly and thought we could do a more honest job of it. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress people with fancy presentations. We just show the work we’ve done and let that speak for itself. Navi Mumbai is growing so fast, and we’re just trying to keep up with the demand. The office at A-103 is usually cluttered with samples of tile, concrete specs, and rolls of paper. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure our crews are doing what they’re supposed to do. It’s a busy life, but it’s good work and we enjoy seeing the progress.
