Insteel Engineers is located over in Sector 19D, right in Ambience Court at unit number 804. It’s a decent spot because we are directly opposite the RTO office, which is a landmark everyone in the area knows. We spend most of our time here working on engineering designs and looking over technical documents. The office isn’t anything out of the ordinary. It’s just a place with plenty of desks, some drawing boards, and stacks of blueprints that seem to grow every week. We have a small group of people working here who have been doing this for quite a while. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic from the RTO, but inside we just focus on getting the calculations right. We don’t really go in for fancy marketing or big presentations. Usually, our work comes from people who have heard about us from others in the industry. It’s a practical environment where we solve structural problems and figure out how to make things work. Some days are spent entirely on the computer, and other days we’re just discussing things over a cup of tea. We aren't trying to be some massive global firm; we just like doing good engineering work for our clients. The building is easy to get to, though the lift can be a bit crowded during lunch hours. We’ve been in this sector for a few years and it feels like a good place for a business like ours.
