Down in the TTC Industrial Area, you’ll find us at Sipex Engineering Corporation. We are right near Bhushan Hotel in Rabale, which is where most of us end up grabbing a quick bite when things get hectic. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. It’s an engineering place, so there’s always blueprints lying around and someone measuring something twice to make sure it’s right. Rabale can get pretty crowded, especially with all the transport moving through, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just show up, do the engineering work that’s on the schedule, and try to keep the machines in good shape. It’s a lot of manual work and checking details. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s not always pretty, and the office is mostly just a desk with a lot of papers piled up. We know the other shop owners around here, and it’s a decent community of people just trying to earn a living. The work can be repetitive, but there is a certain satisfaction in finishing a project. We keep things straightforward. If someone needs something built or sorted, we just get on with it without much fuss. It gets the bills paid and keeps us busy throughout the week.
