Matrix Engineering

Matrix Engineering is located in the Omsadhana Narayani building in Sector-2, Airoli. It is a fairly quiet spot compared to the main market areas, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We have been here for about eight years now. We started with just one old lathe and a couple of tools. Now we have a bit more equipment crammed into the space. It is a tight fit, and we often have to shuffle machines around to make room for new materials. We do not have a secretary or anyone to answer the phones, so we just pick it up when we can hear it over the noise of the machines. Most of our work involves small metal parts and custom jobs that the bigger factories do not want to bother with. My hands are usually covered in grease by the time lunchtime rolls around. Airoli has grown so much lately, with new buildings popping up everywhere you look. We just stay here in our little corner and get on with the jobs we have. We do not have a catalog or anything like that. If someone needs something made, they usually bring a drawing or an old part for us to look at. We tell them if we can do it and what it might cost. It is straightforward and we do not try to make it sound like more than it is.
