Bharat Engineering Works

Our place is out in Rabale MIDC, right near the Golden Garage at plot R210/1. If you know the area, it’s mostly industrial sheds and heavy trucks moving in and out. Bharat Engineering Works operates out of this godown, and it can get pretty loud with all the machinery nearby. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor, usually covered in a bit of grease or dust. It’s just the nature of engineering work. The space is large enough for our equipment, but it gets hot in the afternoons under the metal roof. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things lively. Most days are spent fixing things or putting parts together for whatever job came in that week. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, maybe sharing a cup of tea during a break. The road outside can be a mess when it rains, with plenty of puddles and mud. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know exactly where every tool is kept, even if the place looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s honest work, and we just keep our heads down and get it done. The location isn't perfect, but it works for what we do every day.
