We operate out of D-29/13 in the MIDC area of Turbhe. It’s an industrial spot, so there’s always noise from the neighboring units and trucks coming and going. Ahad Engineering Pvt. Ltd. isn't some massive corporation; we’re just a group of people working with metal and machines every day. The workshop floor is usually covered in some kind of grease or metal shavings, even if we try to sweep up twice a day. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when a project is due. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and fixing things that aren't running right. Our office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor, and it stays pretty loud in there. Turbhe is a busy place for engineering, and being in MIDC means we’re right in the middle of it all. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if the phone rings, whoever is closest to it just picks it up. We’ve got some old equipment that still runs better than the new stuff, and we take care of it. Most of our day is spent troubleshooting and making sure the parts we make are correct. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
