Our workshop is at R-523 in the T.T.C. Industrial Area, which is part of the M.I.D.C. in Rabale. If you know the Navi Mumbai area, you know how busy this stretch can get. We are right in the middle of it, surrounded by other engineering firms and warehouses. At Accupack, we spend our days around heavy metal and the sound of drills. We make parts and machines that other companies use for their packaging needs. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the smell of cutting oil and the sound of something being welded or bolted together. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you visit us, you’ll see the actual work happening right there on the floor. The team here is a group of guys who have been working with machines for years. We don't use a lot of flowery language to describe what we do because the machines speak for themselves. Sometimes a design doesn't work out the first time, and we have to go back to the drawing board and start over. That is just the nature of engineering. We make sure the dimensions are right and the build is solid. It’s a lot of grime and hard work, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished machine head out on a truck to a customer's site. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next job on the list.
