If you are looking for us, we are at Shri Natthu Shankar’s place in Kolda. It’s a small village in the Nandurbar district. Vedafarm Foods Llp is run from right here. Being in a rural area like this means we are close to where the food actually comes from. It’s a lot different than being in a big city like Mumbai or Pune. Things move a bit slower here, but the work is still hard and the hours are long. We spend a lot of our time making sure the food products are handled correctly and everything is clean. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the quality of what we are doing every day. The office is just a part of the house really. We don't have big signs or anything fancy. People in Kolda know who we are and what we do. We don't need a lot of marketing because the work speaks for itself in a small town. Nandurbar can be quite dry and hot, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun gets too high in the sky. We aren't trying to be some massive food giant. We just want to do a good job with the resources we have here in the village. It’s a family-oriented vibe and everyone chips in when there’s a lot to do. We like the quiet life.
