Our company is called Suryadarshan Shetkari Producer Company Limited and we are located in Patilpada, Dhadgaon. The address is H.No 123, which is in the Katrital area of Nandurbar district. It is a pretty remote place and the conditions can be quite tough for farming most of the year. Most of us here grow what we can with the water we have available. We formed this company so we could help each other out with the selling part of the job. The office is just a simple house where we meet to discuss things. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big team of professional workers. It is just us farmers doing the work ourselves every day. We handle everything from the cleaning of the seeds to the loading of the trucks. The sun can be really hot in Nandurbar, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning before it gets bad. We don't have a lot of resources, but we have our land and our community. Every day is different, depending on what needs to be done on the farm. Sometimes we are busy with the accounts, and other times we are helping a neighbor with their harvest. It is an honest way to live, even if it is not easy. We just take it one day at a time here at Patilpada and keep going. We are just plain people.
