Up here in Nandurbar, things move at their own pace. We are based out of house 116 in Junmohidablock. It’s a village where everyone knows what the other person is growing. Devmogra Agro Samarthya Producer Company started because we saw how difficult it was for one person to manage everything alone. We deal with the soil and the seeds every single day. Some years the rain is good, and some years it’s a total mess, but that is just how it goes in agriculture. We don't have a big staff or anyone in a suit. It’s just us, mostly wearing our work clothes and trying to get things organized. Our space in Junmohida is small, but it serves the purpose. We talk a lot about the costs of things and how to get the crops moved to where they need to go. There’s no secret to what we do. We just get up early and stay late when we have to. The village life is busy in its own way, especially during harvest time. You won't find any fancy brochures here. We just write things down in notebooks and try to keep track of the work. It’s about being practical and helping the local folks get by. People stop by 116 for advice or just to see what’s happening. It’s a community thing more than anything else, really. We are just trying to stay steady and keep the land productive for everyone involved.
