Ranikajal Agriculture Producer Companylimited is based out in Bamangaon. That’s in the Akkalkuwa Taluka. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you're coming from the bigger cities. We are right in the middle of the farming community here. The company was started because we felt we could do more if we worked as a unit. Bamangaon is a quiet place, mostly just the sounds of tractors and birds. We don't have a polished front office. Most of the time, the floor is a bit dirty because people are coming in straight from the fields. We don't mind that. It shows work is being done. We handle the collection and sale of agricultural goods. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes the phones don't work great in this part of Akkalkuwa, so we have to go see people in person. It takes more time, but it’s more personal that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the people in Bamangaon have a place that stays open for them to bring their produce. We keep our books in order, but we don't have any fancy accounting software. It’s all very practical and grounded. We eat our lunch together under the tree outside when it’s hot. We’re just regular people trying to make the agriculture business work for our local area. It’s a simple setup and it suits the way we live and work in the village.
