Amop Farmers Producer Company Limited

In the small village of Kanjala, in Akkalkuwa, you’ll find Amop Farmers Producer Company Limited. We operate out of house number 61, which belongs to Ramsing Dudalya Valavi. This is up in the Nandurbar district of Maharashtra. It’s a pretty rural area, and that’s where all our members live and farm. We aren't a big company with a high-rise office. Our setup is very basic and situated right in the heart of our community. Being in Kanjala means we are close to the land we work on. We mostly focus on helping the local farmers here in Akkalkuwa get their produce together so we can sell it more easily. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to people in the village. We don't use any corporate talk because it wouldn't make sense to anyone here. We just deal with the reality of farming and the daily chores that come with it. Ramsing’s place serves as our main meeting point. It’s where we make decisions about what to plant and when to sell. We aren't trying to be anything other than a group of hardworking people looking out for each other. The Nandurbar area can be tough, but we’ve lived here all our lives. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple life, and our company reflects that style of living.
