Ukhlai Anna Prakriya Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Dorli in the Hadgaon taluka. We are set up at Shri Shelke Ramabai Bharatrao’s place. The "Anna Prakriya" part of our name is because we are really focused on processing what we grow. It’s one thing to grow the food, but another thing to get it ready for people to actually use. We wanted to keep more of that work here in Dorli instead of sending it off somewhere else. It keeps us busy, that's for sure. The people involved are all local farmers who have been around these parts for years. We know the roads, the fields, and the people in Hadgaon. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have our hands and the machines we use to process our harvests. Sometimes things break down or the power goes out, but we just fix it and keep moving. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. We like doing the work ourselves. We started this company so we could help the community here get a better price for their hard work. It’s a group effort, and everyone in Dorli knows where to find us if they need help with their crops. We’re just a bunch of neighbors working toward a common goal and looking out for our own. It’s much better to have a group you can rely on when things get difficult or when the harvest is heavy and needs quick attention.
